Mikaela Sunley
Mikaela
has been dancing since the age of 5 with Joanne Grace School Of Dance and
has studied many styles of dance (ballet, jazz, contemporary, modern
expressive , hip hop, tap). She has been active in competitions throughout
the Illawarra and Sydney regions and enjoys the thrill of performing. She
attends Wollongong High School of the performing arts where she is
completing her final year and has also been a participant in many extra
curricular activities such as school musicals, pantomimes, Southern Stars
and School Spectacular to name a few. Mikaela has completed her RAD
classical ballet examination up to and including Advanced 1 to date as well
as Gold Star and Bar in the Les Griffith tap syllabus. Mikaela holds her
First Aid Certificate with Royal Life Saving and is also studying PDHPE at
school which has increased her knowledge in various aspects relating to the
dance industry. Throughout her years at the studio Mikaela has taken part in
studio tours that have allowed her to take classes and gain more experience
at the Edge studios in Los Angeles and Jean.M. Wong school Of ballet in Hong
Kong Mikaela looks forward to helping the students develop their dance
skills and technique in the further years to come.
