Having learnt various styles of dance since the age of 4, Vanessa found her love and passion for Tap Dancing at a very young age.
She fell in love with this particular style of dance and by the age of 17, had successfully completed every exam of the Les Griffith Tap Dance Academy with Honours or higher. Whilst learning tap dancing, Vanessa began to gain a love for teaching it as well, through her work experience as a student teacher, which led her onto studying and passing her teaching certificates. She continued teaching Tap Dancing, whilst studying a Bachelor of Teaching and then embarked on a journey around the world.
Once back in Australia, it was not long before Vanessa could refuse the temptation to begin tapping again, and found herself in a musical and talent show before she knew it. Although they were enjoyable experiences, Vanessa soon remembered that it was the teaching she loved, rather than the performing and it was only a matter of time before she found herself teaching Tap Dancing again, her true strength and passion.
Vanessa absolutely adores working with children and teaching them the steps and skills for Tap, sharing her passion with the talent of tomorrow.
