National Character
Students
have the option of broadening their dance experience and skills by studying
National Dance.
National Character is an integral part of the students training in Classical Ballet. National Dance is embedded within the classic ballets and gives us a glimpse at the historical timeline to what we know of dance today.
National Character forms part of the Royal Academy Of Dance Syllabus from Grades 1 - 8 and as such it is important for the students to gain an understanding of its place in dance today.
Private Lesson students have the opportunity to perform traditional dances in Polish, Hungarian, Russian, Swiss and Ukrainian.
