Lyrical

Lyrical is the style preference for most young dancers. The style is centered around the classical technique but gives more freedom to the dancer through greater use of the upper body and incorporates the use of the floor.

This style is danced to a wide range of music which also is an attractive feature for young dancers. Lyrical dance is characterized by fluidity and grace, with the dancer flowing from one move to another, holding finishing steps as long as possible which is why so many at JGSoD make the choice to study this style.
