Emily commenced dancing at the age of three and began classes at JGSoD at 7 years of age. Over the years Emily has developed a great love of dance and expressed interest in teaching so she began student teaching under the guidance of Joanne Grace-Morgan teaching all styles of dance. After a thorough training period Emily started taking casual relief classes and then once proven was offered her own classes which she accepted with great delight.
Emily has a great passion for performing arts and competed in many eisteddfods and competitions with much success at major eisteddfods such as Wollongong and City of Sydney. Performance highlights over the last few years including performing alongside Justice Crew as well as being a regular member of the Illawarra South East Regional Performing Company and Ensemble.
Having studied RAD Ballet through Joanne Grace School of Dance and completed graded and vocational ballet exams, Emily received distinctions for all and have recently completed and received a distinction in RAD Advanced 2 exam. In addition to Ballet exams Emily is a proficient tap dancer and has also completed the majority of Les Griffiths tap exams.
Emily is grateful to have had numerous opportunities through JGSoD to dance with and be taught by many successful people in the industry and she looks forward to teaching the many great dancers at Joanne Grace School of Dance this year.
